ADA Facilities
The entire facility is ADA accessible and is equipped with an elevator to the mezzanine. Marked ADA parking is available in the front of the facility.
Admissions
An admission fee may be charged to gain entrance to the courts. Admission prices vary depending upon event. Tickets are non-refundable.
Attire
Proper attire and footwear is required at all times. Anyone with inappropriate or explicit clothing will be asked to leave the premises.
Cash/Credit
We accept cash, credit or debit. This may vary per event. Please check with each individual event to see if they are cash only. For your convenience, an ATM is located on site.
Changing Station
Changing stations are available in both the men’s and women’s restrooms. There is also a family restroom located in the lobby.
Concessions
There are concessions available on site. The Courtside Café offers sporting event favorites including hot dogs, nachos, chicken tenders, candy, energy drinks and more. For a full menu, visit our Courtside Café page.
Conduct Policy
Athletes, spectators and guests are expected to set a superior example of sportsmanship and respect of others on the premises. Abusive or offensive language will not be tolerated. Physical violence of any kind will result in immediate removal from the venue. Spectators are not allowed on the court or field of play. Individuals in violation of the conduct policy may have their admission privileges revoked, become ejected from the venue or be subject to arrest. Ejected guests do not receive a refund for their ticket(s) nor are they compensated in any way.
Drugs and Alcohol
Safety of athletes and guests is the number one priority of the John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center. Drugs and alcohol are strictly prohibited. Those found in violation will be reported to the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
Filming and Photography
Your presence and participation at John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center events serve as consent to use your image for promotional purposes.
Firearms
Firearms and all other weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited.
Fireworks
Absolutely no fireworks are permitted anywhere on the property or adjacent areas unless part of a fireworks exhibit organized and conducted by the John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center.
Lawn Chairs
Lawn and/or camping chairs with rubber “feet” are permitted inside the facility.
Lost and Found
The John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. All guests are encouraged to leave valuables at home and/or lock personal items in their vehicle when attending events at the venue. During events, items turned in to staff as “lost and found” can be located at the Guest Services desk in the facility’s lobby.
Medical Assistance
The John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center has partnered with a local physical training group to provide training and medical services at the venue. Athletes, spectators, and guests should notify venue or training personnel for all injury or emergency medical situations. If an injury occurs on the field, our experienced staff will notify a trainer for assessment and care. The athletic trainer room is located down our hallway in room 109.
Open Gym
Currently, we do not currently offer an open gym for any sport. If you are looking for open gym time, we recommend contacting facilities owned and operated by the City of Myrtle Beach, which include Pepper Geddings Recreation Center, Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium, or the Mary C. Canty Recreation Center.
Outside Food and Beverage
Guests will not be permitted to bring coolers, outside food and drink or glass containers into the John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center. Gum is not permitted due to the hardwood court surface.
Parking
Parking fees are $5 per vehicle per day. Buses and RVs are $10 per day. No parking will be allowed on grassed areas, streets or thoroughfares. No parking signs must be observed. Violators may be towed at the owner’s expense. No overnight parking is permitted.
Pet Policy
With the exception of service animals, pets are not permitted.
Skateboarding
Skateboarding, scooters, wheelies, hoverboards, and skates are not permitted inside the facility.
Solicitation
Only John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center-approved venue sponsors are allowed to distribute or circulate commercial advertisements, including but not limited to pamphlets, handouts, advertisements, banners, posters, signs, etc.
Tent/Tailgating Policy
John T. Rhodes Myrtle Beach Sports Center guests are not permitted to tailgate in the parking lot, including pop-up tents and grills.
Tobacco and Vaping
This is strictly a non-smoking facility. No smoking or other use of tobacco products including, pipes, cigars, cigarettes, or chewing tobacco is permitted in any part of the competition fields and courts. Vaping is not permitted.
